I can still remember the time when the only thing we had in our house was a black and white TV and an AM/FM radio. Life back then was less complicated and more on energy saving. But now, we have too much of everything, iPods, Flat Screen TVs, laptops, desktops, PSPs and Wii, and everything that needs electricity to work. These things are not necessities but have become the most important part of our life. We have lived a life before these things were invented, how can we say that we cannot live if ever we lost them?
More and more teens are into iPods and most of the time they are using it. A study shows that one in five teens now suffer from hearing loss. Blame it on playing music too loud. How can we avoid losing our sense of hearing at a very early age? Perhaps avoid listening to our iPods/CD players/walkmans to its FULL VOLUME. Or we need to try to minimize the time we spent listening to such gadgets.
We are not handicaps when we were born; try not to abuse the gift of life and senses from God.
